Not yet. We operate in a hair salon studio.  The environment is welcoming with soft-tempo music and light conversation. At this time, we do not have a "music-only" zen vibe, but that is the goal by the end of 2025!

We currently operate with traditional salon equipment. Please expect a cushioned sink, reclining chair and footrest. In the next phase, we will transition into Shampoo Beds, Steamers and Waterfalls, all in individual rooms. We're excited to go on this journey with you as we prove our concept! Avoid anything bulky and heavy such as hoodies and high-cut tops like turtle necks.

We require all jewelry to be removed before service. New piercings that cannot be removed will be approved on a case by case basis. If you forget to remove your jewelry we are not responsible for damage or loss. 

Tardiness is at your own detriment. Countdown begins at the time of your scheduled appointment. Therefore, if you are 10 minutes late for a 50-minute treatment, you are entitled to the remaining 40 minutes of service.

Rescheduling is accepted up to 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours of the service and have a voucher, it will be redeemed and become void. Otherwise your card on file will be charged a $50 fee. In extreme cases or emergencies, the fee/void will be waived.

Scalp-ology has the right to deny service if it is deemed medically negligent. Conditions that warrant this decision include, but are not limited to, suspected lice, severe scalp crusting/oozing, large tumors, open wounds and non-intentional hair matting/dreading.

Medical conditions and mental-health conditions, such as depression, can sometimes create an unexpected side-effect of hair matting. We understand and we are here for you on your road to recovery.
